Motorbase, who for 2009 ran under the banner of Airwaves BMW have tested Andrew Jordan, Steven Kane and Alex MacDowall.
Jordan and Kane both have previous BTCC experience, Andrew having driven for VX Racing in 2009 while Kane drove for the Porsche side of the team in 2007 and moved into the BMW for 2008, and took the team's first outright podium finish. For MacDowall, it was his first experience of Rear Wheel Drive machinery, having raced in a Renault Clio in 2009, taking the runners up spot to Phil Glew.
Jordan is looking for a new drive after the Vauxhall pull out at the end of the 2009 season and was immediately at ease with the BMW, having been a very successful rally cross star before the move to circuit racing, while Kane was back in the car after a year away helping out with the reborn FIA F2 Championship.
