David Brabham confirmed for Autosport International

David Brabham is the latest name to be announced for the Autosport International show due to be held 14-17 January at the NEC, Birmingham.

Fans will be able to meet the Le Mans 24 Hour winner and American Le Mans Series Champion, and not forgetting son of triple Formula One Champion Sir Jack Brabham at the show where he will discuss his amazing 2009 season where he secured victory at the worlds most famous 24 hour race alongside Alexander Wurz and Marc Gene along with taking the ALMS series with Scott Sharp at the Patron Highcroft team.

Brabham will take part in the 90-minute endurance Racing4Charity Karting Challenge, of which he is a co-founder/

“2009 was a fantastic season for me personally, in Europe and America,” said Brabham. “Winning the Le Mans 24 Hours for Peugeot was of course very special, but so was taking the American Le Mans championship title. I'm looking forward to getting the chance to thank the supporters at the show; I always enjoy going to Autosport International as it's a great way to catch up with friends and fans.”

Autosport International Show Director Ian France added: “David Brabham is a highly successful sportscar driver who is always popular with the fans and we are delighted that he will be joining us at our 20th anniversary show.”

Sportscar fans will also get the opportunity to see David's Le Mans-winning car, the 908 HDi FAP, on the Peugeot Sport stand at the show, as well as Audi Le Mans rival and former-Formula One driver Allan McNish.
