Stefan GP Head to Bahrain

Serbian Grand Prix team, Stefan GP, have sent their equipment out to Bahrain in preparation for the season opening race.

The team have made their intentions clear from the word go to be racing in 2010, and having agreed a deal, in principle, with the former Toyota outfit for Technical assistance, and it is believed they have access to the  2010 chassis and engines.

Stefan GP, by sending their truck out has made history as the first team to send equipment to a track without an official entry into the Formula One World Championship.

They are proving that it is serious is being on the grid in Bahrain, and although it depends on one of the 4 new teams not making it, they are playing safe and making sure that they are at Bahrain just in case.

The team have said that if they don't get a slot on the grid for the 2010 season, they'll go testing and push for a slot in the 2011 season.

After sending their equipment out, bosses took the chance to thank the team for their effort and professionalism.

  • Zoran Stefanovic…what a legend.
Hopefully the FIA bring a halt to the farce that is Campos, Dallara sell the car to USF1 and Stefan GP are granted an entry in time to start the season!

I sure hope so, Stefan GP seem like a genuine outfit – Campos, meanwhile seem useless.

I can’t see em making it tbh
