#43 Lea Wood

Another driver and team making their debut in the BTCC is Lea Wood in the Central Racing Group Honda Integra.

Wood is another former Elf Renault Clio Cup runner in this seasons BTCC, having competed in the one make series in 2008, taking a best result of second with fastest lap at Oulton Park, he also took 5 'driver of the day' awards during the season.

Before the Clio Cup graduation, Wood had competed in the BRSCC Super Silhouette Championship, which he won in 2007, at the wheel of a team Wood Racing Vauxhall Tigra. He took 12 wins en route to the Championship.

Making his BTCC debut in a BTC spec Honda Integra will mean that the pressure will be off Wood, and he can learn the car and series.

Season Prediction:

Another outfit with a steep learning curve ahead of them, but with a proven car, built by former champions Team Dynamics, Central Racing Group should be up to speed and challenging the back end of the midfield by the end of the season.
