The 2010 Rallycross Superprix has a new sponsor in the form of Abarth Cars UK. The Superprix is the traditional end to the rallycross season, and this year will see Knockhill as the venue.
As part of the sponsorship, Abarth will display an extensive range of it’s cars, as well as local dealer, Arnold Clark, providing an Abarth Punto Evo to the Superprix for use as the course car.
Formally labelled as the 2010 Fuchs Lubricants, Arnold Clark Abarth Rallycross Superprix, the event will be held at Knockhill on Sunday 24th October. It is the first time that the event has been held at Knockhill.
The Head of Abarth UK, Ivan Gibson, said “Abarth and Arnold Clark are delighted to be involved in this event as it allows us to once again get back to racing, which is at the heart of everything we do”, adding, “The Superprix is the traditional end to the rallycross season and we are excited to be a part of what will be a fantastic day's sport”.
Gibson spoke of the new location for the Superprix, stating “It's the first time that the event has been held at Knockhill, but the home of Scottish motorsport will provide a perfect setting for the leading competitors and we will be watching the action with interest as the day unfolds”.
