Chevrolet Dominate Second Practice

1 Mins read

Jason Plato continued his first practice session form as he took the fastest time in the second practice along with team-mate Alex MacDowall who was just 0.009s behind Plato’s 48.634.

Rob Collard will be in contention for a win this weekend if he can continue his practice form as he finished third in the seconds session.

Matt Neal had a frustrating session after missing half of the first session due to a set-up gamble. The second practice saw him in tenth place as the team worked to iron out further set-up problems.

There was a short red-flag period as Shaun Hollamby headed in to the gravel trap at Paddock Hill bend with the marshalls needing to recover the stricken VW Golf.

James Thompson continued his run in the TOCA NGTC Toyota Avensis prototype completing a total of 14 laps which placed him seventeenth fastest in the session.

Ben Collins failed to set a time after completing just two laps as the gearbox problems continued.

David Pinkney failed to get out on track and his weekend seems to be over after suffering terminal mechanical problems in the first practice.
