F1 Drivers Line-up for Charity Football Match in Monaco

World champion Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will be among a selection of F1 drivers turning out for Nazionale Piloti for a charity football match in Monaco on 24th May, the Tuesday before the Monaco Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg, Vitaly Petrov, Jaime Alguersuari, Jarno Trulli and Sergio Perez are the other current F1 drivers hoping to beat ‘Star Team for the Children’, led by Prince Albert II. Funds raised will be donated to AMADE – the Association Mondiale des Amis de  l’Enfance – and to LILT – Lega Italiana contro l Tumori.

Prolific goal scorer and ex-Ferrari driver Giancarlo Fisichella will also be on the drivers’ team, as will Team Lotus test driver Ricardo Teixeira. British representative comes in the form of Sam Bird, who races in GP2.

The match takes place at the Louis II Stadium with kick-off at 7pm.
