Ferrari technical director Aldo Costa has today ‘relinquished’ his position ‘to take on new responsibilities within the company’.
Former McLaren engineer Pat Fry, who joined the Scuderia over the winter, becomes ‘Director for the Chassis side’ whilst Corrado Lanzone is put in charge of production. Both will report to team principal Stefano Domenicali.
The move comes as Ferrari continue to endure a disappointing start to the season which culminated in both cars being lapped by race winner Sebastian Vettel last weekend in Spain.
The team’s best result of the season is third place for Fernando Alonso in the Turkish Grand Prix.
