Kubica’s Final Operation ‘A Total Success’

1 Mins read

Robert Kubica underwent his final scheduled operation in Italy yesterday as he continues to recover from severe rallying accident he suffered in February.

Surgeons report that they completed 100% of their tasks during the procedure, which was aimed at recovering the full mobility of the Pole’s right elbow. There were no complications and the surgeons described the operation as ‘a total success’.

As soon as Kubica opened his eyes after the operation, it is reported that he asked for the results of that day’s Belgian Grand Prix.

The Renault driver will now rest in hospital for a few days before resuming his rehabilitation and training programme.
