Protyre Formula Renault BARC championship contender Josh Webster is offering fans the chance to win a VIP Day Out at the season finale of the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone on October 16th, in exchange for a donation to his chosen charity, EACH.
People who make a donation of any size to EACH via Josh's donation page will be entered into a draw to win a day out at Silverstone as a guest of Josh, including entry tickets for two, lunch, afternoon tea, a driver presentation and photo opportunities with Josh and his Fortec Motorsport Formula Renault BARC car.
EACH (East Anglian Children's Hospices) care for children and young people with life threatening illnesses across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They provide care and support in families' homes, in hospital or in one of their three hospices, with this care costing £11,000 a day to provide, meaning they need to raise £4million a year in donations to be able to deliver their vital services.
Webster has been supporting EACH by giving special days out to the families, by donating raceday packages to charity auctions, by raising money from supporters, sponsors and guests at race meetings and by raising awareness of the charity trackside and on his website and social media pages.
Webster said: “I had donated days out at racedays for several different charities over the last year, but I wanted to get closer to a charity, to feel more involved. I chose EACH as I live in East Anglia, and was inspired by their amazing campaign to raise £3m to build and equip a new children’s hospice in Ipswich.
“Now of course the work goes on to run the hospices and provide the services. When I visited the Treehouse I knew I wanted to help in any way possible, so I’m trying to raise money and provide some fun days out for the families too”.
