Last week, a bus accident involving a train in the San Luis region claimed the lives of six children and two teachers from the Santa Maria School.
The 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship saw its final round of the season at the Potrero de los Funes circuit. All of the participants humbly paid their respects to the people of San Luis and its Governor, Mr. Alberto Rodriguez Saa, with black ribbon logos on their cars and a minute of silence was held before the Championship Race.
This week, and over the next three weeks, the Santa Maria School will be the object of the FIA GT1 World Championship’s attention. Within this time an e-Bay auction will showcase:
During the race weekend, the GT1 teams have donated a range of items including the race overalls from the 2011 FIA GT1 World Champions Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr.
