Michael Epps With His Trophies From The Recent 750 Motor Club Awards

Michael Epps received four awards during the recent 750 Motor Club Awards Evening in recognition of his sensational 2011 Formula Vee campaign.

At the awards ceremony in Stratford Upon Avon, the Hertfordshire teenager was awarded a host of trophies in front of a crowd of over 200 people, including Motorsport legends, media and fellow racers.

Epps picked up his trophy for finishing runner-up in the Vee Championship, as well as the Top Rookie award, two separate trophies as he was won the Antim Rookie award, the Fred Matthews Memorial Trophy and the Best Prepared Car award. Epps also received £250 worth of Tengtools vouchers.

Epps said: “I’m delighted! I knew I definitely had two awards tonight but the other two I had no idea about. Someone had to help me hold all my trophies!”

The evening was a huge boost for Epps, who is currently trying to get the budget together to compete in the 2012 Formula Renault BARC Championship.

Epps added: “We have enough budget for some of it, but still need quite a bit of funding. I have every package possible available for anyone or any company who is potentially interested. I just want to get on the grid this year and try to get more wins and awards than I did last year!”
