Hey everyone!

Just completed another round of the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship, unfortunately the weather wasn't so good for the qualifying but when the racing got started I made good progress with my confidence and actually racing the car.

I am really buzzing for the next race, which is at Thruxton, I can't wait to get back out and give it everything. Driving the car isn't as easy as it looks and it has definitely been more of a challenge than I thought it would be, but I love a challenge!

The more I progress the better I feel. I am really pushing myself, on and off track to make sure I get to my target for this year and be the best I can.

The Caterham project is going well, we are really making progress with it and meetings with important people are really giving us a clear idea that this championship will be a great thing for karting.

I really can't wait to get started on testing the kart which should hopefully be happening soon, this is a great opportunity for me and as I haven't been in a kart for a long time and I know I will really enjoy it.

I have also been given the opportunity to appear in a brochure about life skills, aimed at 13-19 year olds, can't wait to see how that goes and will hopefully have more information soon.

I am still looking for sponsors, small and large, to secure my drive to the end of the season and to allow me to reach my full potential – anyone interested please visit my website www.lauratillett.com

I am also very interested to tell everyone that I will hopefully be competing in a charity race at Buckmore Park this Thursday with my dad in memory of my friend Henry Surtees.

For more information on that, please contact Buckmore Park as I am sure everyone's support is important to the event.
