After finishing second in class in his first race in the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship (BEC) Dave Pittard will return to action this weekend on the Snetterton 300 circuit, again with the Strata21 Porsche.

Pittard is due to share the car with co-drivers Adam Sharpe and Tom Jones during the three hour at the Norfolk circuit for the third round of the 2012 BEC.

“I am really looking forward to Snetterton,” said the 20-year-old. “I have had time to fully prepare and look forward to this round, as the Donington deal was so late!”

“I love the new Snetterton 300 Circuit and I think it will be really enjoyable in the Strata21 Porsche, and as a bonus the weather is looking good – touch wood!”

Pittard, Sharpe and Jones lost out to experienced Britcar racer Steve Guglielmi and British GT driver Michael Caine for class honours in the Donington Park race. Guglielmi – and regular co-driver Jeff Mileham – are again entered this weekend in the Lotus Elise providing strong opposition for the Strata21 team who will also have to contend with the Intersport BMW M3 of Kevin Clarke and Wayne Gibson in the same class.

The Checkered Flag will have qualifying and race reports from the BEC Snetterton weekend.
