Points leader Charlie Robertson is looking to increase his lead in the 2012 Ginetta Junior Championship in Rounds Seven and Eight at Oulton Park after scorching to the top of the points table last time out at Thruxton.

Robertson was in a class of his own in Hampshire, claiming his first ever double victory with two unchallenged victories in the wet weather. The wins moved the teenager from fourth in the standings into the championship lead and now the Investigo and Ria Capital Markets-backed racer is hoping to extend his advantage with more wins at Oulton.

HHC Motorsport's Robertson said: “It's been a long break since the last two races so I can't wait to be back in the car during testing next Friday. Thruxton was an amazing weekend, it was really challenging with the constant rain and strong winds but that made the wins even more satisfying.

“Now we've got the championship lead, I intend to keep hold of it and I'm confident we should be quick at Oulton Park. It's a fantastic track and I was on the podium there in my first season last year, so I'm aiming for at least two podiums this time and hopefully two more wins.”
