Donegan Makes Hillspeed Switch

1 Mins read

Irishman Keith Donegan has made the move from Beacon Racing to Hillspeed for the second half of the 2012 Ginetta Junior Championship.

Donegan, who is competing in his maiden season in car racing, has recorded a best result of fifth place in the first ten races, picking up two other top six finishes as he sits only three points shy of the championship top six.

After testing with Hillspeed recently, the 15 year old has made the decision to switch to the 2010 and 2011 title-winning team for the final ten races, joining multiple podium finisher Pepe Massot.

Team Principal Richard Ollerenshaw commented: “Keith is a very bright young talent and we've been keeping a close eye on him since he debuted in Ginetta Junior at the start of the season. He's very quick, has a lot of ability and is definitely one to watch. We're delighted he's joining us for the second half of the season and pleased Pepe [Massot] will have a strong team-mate to work with over the final 10 rounds.”
