DTM Official App Gets Its Mid Season Upgrade

1 Mins read

With racing coming back to life after the summer break, DTM has decided to make some upgrades to its official App, which brings about several changes to help enhance the overall experience for the fans. And in time for this weekend, the new version was launched  on Friday for the iPhone, iPod and iPad free of charge, enabling those interested in the most-popular international touring car series to follow news, session reports and opinions, as well as live race analysis online, courtesy of DTM.tv presenter Verena Wriedt and ARD’s DTM expert, Manuel Reuter.

After the chequered flag drops, they will also be joined by some well-known guests to the fans and enthusiasts of the sport, the drivers themselves, representing all three premium brands currently competing, with the analysis being able to be accessed by DTM.tv itself later on.

Live-timing on the App itself is a welcome addition, so wherever the budding race fan is during their weekend, they are able to keep fully informed. This is another way in which the series is helping to make the experience for fans that little bit more enjoyable, as the official App itself is accompanied by the constant acceleration and evolution of its online offers beside the race track as well. With interactivity also being a key part of the experience, the official companion makes sure that the latest key information and news on drivers and teams can be followed, the moment any releases are announced.

What’s more, the App also comes complete with the Fantasy DTM game, picture galleries, as well as the official DTM.tv channel, that goes behind-the-scenes, finding out opinions, news and reports for the latest up-to-date information as it happens.

The DTM official App also comes in the traditional blue colour scheme, which is complimented by animated current car and driver pictures, as well as the race countdown timer, for those eagerly waiting for when the DTM roars into life at any point this season.

To download your copy of the latest version of this ever-developing and forward-surging application, which also enables you to download each race event guide for free, you can do so here: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/dtm-the-official-app/id549496490?mt=8
