Tom Onslow-Cole takes the chequered flag with Fulbrook and Lines rounding out the podium places. The rain is now coming down hard, Mike Neuhoff would have prefered this weather a little earlier as he finishes down in 18th position after his tyre gamble failed to pay off.

It looks like the VW’s will avoid the rain as the race enters its final stages.

Onslow-Cole extends the gap to 1.791 seconds as they enter the last lap in the shortened race.

Onslow-Cole is flying, fastest lap for the BTCC driver on lap 2. Rob Austin heads out on track after his earlier problems.

Onslow-Cole continues to lead Fulbrook and Lines with Mason in hot pursuit. The gap at the front is 0.689 seconds.

The grid get away for the restart, no problems this time, Fulbrook leads

1 minute until the restart. Mike Neuhoff is hoping it will be turn in to a wet race as he switched over to wet tyres in the pits. It could prove to be an inspired move as the grey rainclouds close in.

Looks like the track has been cleared and the barriers repaired, hopefully that means it’s time to go racing again.

The grid is reforming as the circuit staff work hard to repair the barrier.

The cars involve in the incident were Gilbert, Morris and Chopra. rob Austin sits in the pitlane waiting to head out on track after coming in to the pits.

As the cars come around behind the safety car Fulbrook is in P1, Mason second and Onslow-Cole third.

The safety car is out while the cars are retrieved and the barrier is assessed

Fulbrook and Onslow-Cole get away with a equal start, Mason closes in while further back there is a collision, looks like one of the Team HARD cares in the barrier.

The rain is closing in on Snetterton, there was a few drops before the formation lap but it’s stopped ready for the start.

The cars are lining up on the grid ahead of their formation lap, Joe Fulbrook will lead the field away with BTCC regular Tom Onslow-Cole joining him on the front row. Rob Austin starts the race from 10th on the grid.
