Struan Moore Makes Renault BARC Move With Hillspeed

1 Mins read

2010 series champions Hillspeed have bolstered their line-up for the 2012 Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship with the signing of Struan Moore.

17 year old Moore raced with Hillspeed in the Ginetta Junior series last year, before taking a break this year due to educational commitments. After a recent successful test in one of Hillspeed's FR 2.0 cars, the Ginetta podium finisher will make his debut in single-seater racing during the final two events of the year at Donington Park and Silverstone.

“We're absolutely delighted to have Struan back racing with Hillspeed”, said team principal Richard Ollerenshaw, “He showed a huge amount of potential in Ginetta Junior and during his first few tests in the Formula Renault BARC car he was very impressive. It's fantastic to be back up to three cars for the last two race meetings of the season and we're confident Struan will do a fantastic job.”
