Rob Austin will sport a stunning new livery on his Audi A4 at this weekend’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship finale after securing a “one-off” deal with Wix Filters.
The company is already involved in Nascar and the Rob Austin Racing team will be renamed as wixracing.co.uk and rebranded under the bold yellow and black colour scheme.
Austin hopes the deal marks the beginning of a long-term relationship but in the meantime is excited by the partnership.
He said: “I’m over the moon with this deal and the car looks amazing! Absolute Control Ltd have done a fantastic job with the vinyl and Wix have a great colour scheme so whatever we do this weekend we will look good doing it!
“All the pieces of the puzzle are coming together and this is proven by the Audi being among the quickest cars on the track over the last two rounds. Hopefully we can put it all together and get on the podium for Wix Filters and position ourselves well for a winning season in 2013.”
Will Bratt will continue with the tradition RAR white-and-red colour scheme.
