Lunn And Bennett-Baggs Rejoin Forces For Britcar Finale

1 Mins read

Jensen Lunn and Sarah BennettBaggs will team up once again for this weekend’s Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship (BEC) finale at Donington Park.

The duo ran the full Britcar Production Cup calendar together last season in a Strata 21 run BMW M3, but split this season, Lunn fielding a Chevron GR8 under the Jensen Motorsport banner. After starting the season with Mark Steward as co-driver Lunn entered the three hour race at Snetterton in August as a soloist, unfortunately retiring in the final half hour.

Lunn and the team will start the four hour ‘into the night’ race this weekend 11 points behind current Class Four points leaders Motionsport. However, they are not expected to race at Donington, presenting Lunn and Bennett-Baggs an opportunity to snatch the class title in the final points race of the season.

“It is a pleasure to drive with Sarah again,” said Lunn, “the team are all focused on this last race in which we have a great chance to win our class overall so it’s all to play for, the team having been working round the clock to be as prepared as possible”

Bennett-Baggs added; “I am really looking forward to returning to Britcar for this round and partnering up with Jensen and his team for this race, I have had a quick run in the car and it is enormous fun to drive, thanks to my sponsors Adrian Flux Insurance services who are sponsoring me in this outing if it doesn’t snow it will be awesome as I love Donington its one of my favourite circuits.”
