Tyre manufacturer Michelin has extended its title sponsorship of the Ginetta GT Supercup for a further two years.

The long-standing partnership has been in place since the championship’s inception in 2008, with it now continuing into 2015.

“We are very pleased to have extended our long-standing sponsorship agreement with Ginetta,” said Malcolm Scovell, Michelin Commercial Director, UK and ROI “We feel that our two brands work together very well, allowing drivers of all ages and abilities to experience the thrill of motorsport while providing an excellent springboard for them to progress up through the various classes and beyond, if they so wish.”

“Michelin have been a part of the Ginetta GT Supercup from the beginning, and we are delighted to continue our professional relationship with the brand,” added Ginetta Cars Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson. “We work together not only on the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, but on a number of events throughout the year and they are a pleasure to partner with.”
