Adam Morgan Blog: Back Home With Ciceley

1 Mins read

Hi Everyone!

Firstly, it’s great to be on board with The Checkered Flag for what will be my second season in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

As most of you will already know, for 2013 I will be competing under the reformed Ciceley Racing banner to which I won the 2011 Ginetta GT Supercup title.

It’s been a very busy winter for us and there was a lot to put in place to ensure that we are in the best possible position ahead of the season opener at Brands Hatch on 30/31 March.

We now have a brand new workshop that is based at Ciceley HQ (my house!), and our new Toyota Avensis BTCC challenger is finished, completing its first runs at Donington Park and Rockingham two weeks ago.

I’m really pleased with the team that has been built around me for Ciceley’s debut season in such a prestigious championship. Paul Ridgeway joins the team with a vast amount of previous experience in Touring Car racing, whilst Martin Kenyon and Michael Sparks, both of whom I worked with in 2011, continue as our full-time mechanics.

From a PR and marketing perspective, leading company BAM Motorsport Promotions, renowned for their management of World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff, will also support us throughout the 2013 BTCC season.

With the BTCC Media Day at Donington Park today, be sure to view the unveiling of our new Toyota Avensis (She’s a beauty!).

You can keep up to date with all of the goings on at Ciceley Racing throughout the season at  www.adammorganracing.co.uk or @CiceleyRacing @AdamMorgan33 on Twitter.
