West Surrey Racing‘s 2013 challenger, built to the British Touring Car Championships’ NGTC regulations, has hit the track for the first time.

The eBay Motors-sponsored BMW 125i was at Brands Hatch to get its first shakedown ahead of an official launch and pre-season testing programme.

The car, driven here by Nick Foster, will also be piloted by Foster’s teammate from last season Rob Collard and the returning 2009 champion Colin Turkington.

Dick Bennetts, Team Principal, said it had been a big effort from the team.

“We are looking forward to the testing sessions for our new eBay Motors BMW 125i prior to the season commencing,” he said, “and particularly excited about unveiling the new car livery at the launch event on the 13th March.

“Well done to the lads at WSR for another all-nighter to get the car ready.”
