AF Corse Looking For Another Strong WEC Season

AF Corse will send three Ferrari 458 Italia GT2s to battle in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2013, fielding the only Italian team as one of their two entries in GTE Pro and one entry in GTE Am.

Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni return to the #51 car, having dominated the GTE Pro class in 2012, highlighted by taking the class victory at the infamous Le Mans 24 Hours. Joining AF Corse in the #71 will be new acquisition Kamui Koboyashi, sharing with Toni Vilander, who partnered Bruni and Fisichella on route to victory at Le Mans.

The GTE Am category sees Jack Gerber, Marco Cioci and Matt Griffin behind the wheel of the #61 Ferrari 458 Italia. Each driver has shown promise in the past, with GT experience and victories on the their CVs.

AF Corse will also manage the 8Star Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 as they battle in the GTE Am category.
