Stevenson Motorsports head to Mid-Ohio full of confidence off the back of victory in the previous round of the Rolex Series in Detroit.

Drivers John Edwards and Robin Liddell had dominated the past two rounds at Barber Motorsports Park and Road Atlanta, and continued their form at Belle Isle, leading 27 laps on their way to victory.

A strong display from the pit crew launched the team in to the lead, but a late race caution meant that the field were bunched up for a nine minute sprint at the end of the race.

Despite a strong challenge from two Ferraris, the Stevenson Motorsports Camaro managed to hold off for the chequered flag at Chevrolet’s home circuit.

The team now lie 2nd in the Sports Car Series championship standings, and will tackle the Mid-Ohio course at 4:30pm local time on Saturday 15th June.
