This live blog will be updated throughout the qualifying session for the Avon Tyres British GT Championship at Zandvoort. Start time 9:25am local time (8:25am UK).

09:12The first race of the weekend is scheduled for 4pm local time (3pm UK)

09:03Ryan Ratcliffe takes the GT4 class pole for championship leaders Optimum Motorsport

09:02Oliver Bryant moves the title chasing Ecurie Ecosse to 6th. He will start beside title rival Jonny Adam in the Beechdean Aston

09:00Barff’s final lap will not challenge for pole, but cane he keep 2nd?

08:59Nick Tandy in the pits with 45 seconds left in the session.

08:58Aaron Scott further proves the pace of Ferrari 458 GT3 by going 4th – he and Barff were 2nd and 3rd in second practice

08:57He leaps up 2nd fastest, and cuts Tandy’s margin at the top to 0.178 seconds

08:56Rob Barff does the fastest first sector of anyone – can he challenge for pole?

08:54Jonny Adam improves to 3rd, Matt Bell takes the United Autosports Audi to 4th

08:19Ready for qualifying here amongst the sand dunes. Two 15 minute sessions, each setting the grid for one of the weekend’s 60-minute races.
