Rdest Joins Winter Grid For Brands

1 Mins read

Malgosia Rdest is returning to BRDC Formula 4 action with Douglas Motorsport this weekend for the final rounds of the Winter Championship at Brands Hatch.

The 20 year old had a strong maiden campaign in F4 this season, taking a best finish of eleventh during the season, which she ended with the Yoozoom Award for most overtakes of any driver over the campaign.

Rdest had planned to enter the full Winter Championship, but missed the opening rounds at Scotland after being nominated to contest the 2013 Volkswagen Motorsport Scirocco R-Cup Evaluation Day in Germany.

“Gosia has been great to work with all year,” said Douglas Team Principal Wayne Douglas. “She’s come on really well over the season and I’m looking forward to having her out for Brands. It was a shame she couldn’t make it to Snetterton but the opportunity with Volkswagen was fantastic for her and we wish her all the best.”
