After finishing third in both the 2013 British GT and European Le Mans Series, Barwell Motorsport has spent the winter hard at work to prepare for its 2014 campaigns.
The Surrey-based outfit will once again field a BMW Z4 GT3 in the ELMS GTC class, with the livery and a strong driver line-up to be announced in the near future. Barwell will also continue to work alongside Ecurie Ecosse in 2014, with the squad still deciding on which major GT3 series to contest, and which car it wants to run in them.
It is expected that Barwell will compete in two out of the three championships it contested in the 2013 campaign – British GT, Blancpain Endurance Series and the ELMS.
Jan Anderson, who drove for Barwell in 2013 at the Dubai 24 Hours and Aston Martin GT4 Challenge, will continue his partnership with the team. Anderson is currently evaluating the team’s 2014 options, as are Barwell’s 2013 British GT and GT Cup contenders, Piers and Ron Johnson.
