Caroline Confirmed At TCR For Maiden Campaign

1 Mins read

Jamie Caroline will race for Total Control Racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship this season.

It was announced earlier this month that the reigning KF3 British Open karting champion would be joining the series, but it was not confirmed which team he would race for.

The 14 year old has signed for TCR, who are making their first foray into the Ginetta Junior Championship this year.

Caroline, the son of 2003 TVR Tuscan Challenge champion Lee Caroline, joins fellow karting graduate Matt Chapman at the Wednesbury-based outfit.

“It’s absolutely fantastic to be racing with TCR for my first season in cars, the team is at the front in every championship it competes in so I know I’ll have a great car,” said Caroline.

“It’s great news we’ve been able to agree a deal with Jamie and his dad,” added TCR team principal Lee Brookes. “We know he’s got what it takes to have a strong first season in cars and we’re looking forward to helping bring him on during the year.”
