Norris-Jones Confirms Ginetta Supercup Return

1 Mins read

Dan Norris-Jones has become the latest driver to announce his return to the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup for 2014.

The Berkshire-based racer has committed to his first full season in a G55 with Priocept Racing, after running in both the G50 and G55 classes last season.

Norris-Jones started in the G50 class, with eight podiums in the first nine ensuring he still ended the season as the G50 vice-champion, despite stepping up to the G55’s at the fourth meeting of the year.

After enjoying consistent top ten finishes in the main category, including a best of eighth at Snetterton and Knockhill, Norris-Jones is hoping to convert that experience into consistent top five finishes.

“The Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup is one of the most competitive, professional and high-profile series that you can race in the UK,” he said. “We wanted to pick a series which would test us against some of the UK’s quickest drivers, where all the cars are equally matched and everything comes down to the speed and competitiveness of the driver, and there is nowhere to hide.”
