7. Jayde Kruger
While the focus during last season’s Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain was largely on runaway champion Dan Cammish and stand-out rookie Harrison Scott, there was another driver in the field quietly making a big impression.
That man was Kruger, who despite joining the series late, and having to get acquainted with UK racing and the EcoBoost Formula Ford, who straight on the pace from race one at Oulton Park, taking an impressive eleven podium finishes over the year, including a maiden win.
Kruger has made the switch to JTR for the upcoming campaign, who are targeting their third successive Ford title this season. With a racing CV like Kruger’s, two Formula Ford titles and three Formula Volkswagen titles from his homeland the highlights, they may well have found the right man for the job.
If the 26 year old gels with his new team, with the experience of the car and series under his belt from last year, there’s no doubt he will be in the mix at the top of the standings at the end of the year.
