Campos Racing, who have taken over the GP2 entry of the Barwa Addax team, have announced that Frenchman Arthur Pic and Japanese driver Kimiya Sato will race for the team during the 2014 season.

Pic, the younger brother of Lotus F1 reserve driver Charles, joins GP2 after three years in Formula Renault 3.5.  He won once in that time, winning for DAMS at the Moscow Raceway in 2012.

“We followed him closely and his future looks brilliant,” said team boss Adrian Campos to Autosport.

“I am sure that he will bring us great joy in terms of competitiveness. We are also working to make him feel immediately at home.”

Sato joins having finished second in the 2013 Auto GP World Series championship.  He also had a day testing in a Sauber F1 car at the young drivers test at Silverstone last year.

“I’m very happy to be joining Campos Racing and to be entering the GP2 Championship with them this season,” said Sato. “GP2 was always the logical next step for me after finishing 2nd in the Auto GP Championship last year and I am very pleased that we have been able to reach an agreement with a top team like Campos”
