Zele Racing and Tamas Pal Kiss reunite for 2014 Season

1 Mins read

Top Hungarian driver Tamas Pal Kiss has signed a contract to race for the Zele Racing outfit for the 2014 Auto GP World Series.  He raced for the team at three events in 2013, with a best result of third place in the first race of the Silverstone weekend.

“It’s good to be back at a place with people you know,” said Pal Kiss.  “My expectations are high, because the cooperation with the team was already very good last year. And from what Michael (Zele) told me, they have gained more experience and won several technical partnerships. So everything seems ready for us to battle at the front”.

Despite missing the first two rounds of the 2013 season, Pal Kiss finished fifth in the overall standings last year, and raced for Team MLR71 and the Ibiza Racing Team as well as with Zele.  Team principle Michael Zele is happy to have the 22-year-old back at the team.

“Tamas proved his skills last season and it is nice to have him on board again,” said Zele. “He has great potential and we believe that together we can take the next step this season”.

The Auto GP World Series season begins on the 12th of April on the streets of Marrakech in Morocco as the support series to the World Touring Car Championship.
