Ginetta will be making an appearance on a console video game for the first time later this year, as its G55 GT3 racer has been included in the new Project CARS title.
The game will include a wide range of motorsport disciplines, including single-seaters, sportscars, touring cars and Nascar, with the Ginetta G55 to feature alongside other GT3 machinery including the BMW Z4 and McLaren MP4-12C.
The Ginetta G55 GT3 currently competes in the French V de V Championship in the hands of Lawrence Tomlinson and Michael Simpson, as well as in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship with Tom Sharp and Colin White.
The makers of the Project Cars game, Slightly Mad Studios, have called it “the most authentic, beautiful, intense and technically-advanced racing game on the planet.” Gamers will be able to race on some of the world’s most iconic circuits including Bathurst, Brands Hatch, Spa Francorchamps, Le Mans, Silverstone and the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
The game is set to be released in November on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Wii U.
