PMR Motorsports Return To Global RX With Chevrolet

PMR Motorsports has confirmed that it will be returning to the Red Bull Global Rallycross championship for the 2014 season with Chevrolet following their successful debut in Charlotte last September.

Currently the plan is for team owner/driver Pat Moro will take the driving seat of the #59 at four events, including the X Games in Austin, Texas.

For the Detroit round on 2-3 August the team will introduce a second car, with the driver still to be announced.

“It’s great to be back with Chevrolet for the 2014 Red Bull GRC season,” said Moro. “Their knowledge and assets are a great resource to our team. We’re looking forward to building on the partnership that we formed last season and becoming more competitive this year.”

Mark Kent, Director of Chevrolet Racing echoed Moro’s delight, “I look forward to seeing Pat Moro and his Chevrolet Sonic return to competition in select events of the 2014 Global Rallycross season,

“The PMR Motorsports Sonic was introduced near the end of the 2013 season and demonstrated great potential.  In 2014, I fully expect to see Pat contending for wins in his Chevrolet.”

PMR Motorsports and Pat Moro are currently scheduled to appear at the following events:

  • June 7: X Games Austin
  • August 2-3: Detroit, MI
  • November 5: Las Vegas, NV
  • One more event to be determined
