JDX Goes Gold for Laguna

1 Mins read

JDX Racing will arrive at Laguna Seca for the third round of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA sitting in third place in the drivers’ standings and with a striking new livery.

The team’s driver Sloan Urry took the #20 machine to sixth and third at the opening two rounds at Sebring International Raceway, starting its first full season off with a podium result and setting up a potential charge for the championship.

The Laguna Seca round will also see the team debut a brand new livery, with the team asking its Facebook fans [over 100,000] what colour they’d like to see the team in. The overwhelming response came up with gold, a colour that has been the foundation of the team’s liveries for the past four seasons. The new livery at Laguna Seca will feature gold in a bold way.

“The last few seasons The JDX Gold Car was loved by the fans,” explained team co-owner Harrison Brix. “At the track and based on what our Facebook fans and followers told us, it was clear we needed to stay close to our roots. Fittingly, this new livery is stunning – a natural evolution for JDX / Hertz Racing, and an appropriate nod to the performance heritage of Hertz Rent-a-Car”.
