Last Minute Deal Puts Coates On Croft Supercup Grid

1 Mins read

Max Coates is set to make a return to track this weekend after a late deal was put together to bring back his privateer team in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup championship, backed by Primex Plastics Limited.

Coates last on-track outing was a guest drive in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB which saw him on pace with the rest of the regular racers and will be looking to build on his podium position secured at Croft last year.

“I’m so happy to be back in the race seat” said Coates “It’s been a bit last minute but I’m now looking forward to the weekend.

The late deal from Primex Plastics and Coates’ personal sponsors means the Yorkshire driver will be able to race once again in front of his home crowd.

“Croft is a great circuit to drive and having local support is always a massive help.” he adds.

“Without Primex Plastics Limited or my personal sponsor’s this weekend wouldn’t be happening for me so I am very grateful. Ginetta have been great in organising things at the 11th hour and Ryan Motorsport Insurance are stepping in to provide the insurance.”

Round 13 of the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup will be broadcast live on ITV4 13:15 on Sunday 29th June.
