Scott Speed – “Plan A worked to perfection!”

1 Mins read

Scott Speed will leave Austin, Texas on a high as he took his second win of the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship at X Games Austin.

Continuing his pace from the opening race of the season in Barbados Speed was dialed in to the rallycross circuit at the Circuit of the Americas from day 1.

Taking a total of 5 out of 5 victories this weekend Speed was untouchable as he aced the heats, quarter finals, semi finals, before going on to blow the field away in the final.

“Plan A worked to perfection!” an overjoyed Speed exclaimed after the race.

“We had a really bad qualifying draw, and I think our best performance of the week was qualifying second. That set the tone—that let us know that we had the pace again.

“Then it was just on to me not making mistakes, and we were able to do that in every single heat race.”
