Andrew Jordan To Be Assessed Before Qualifying

1 Mins read

Reigning British Touring Car Championship champion Andrew Jordan will miss second practice and be assessed before qualifying after a heavy accident in Saturday’s morning session.

The Pirtek Racing driver has been taken to hospital for precautionary check-ups after his Honda Civic left the road at Riches during first practice, the car suffering heavy rear-end damage in the subsequent impact with the barriers.

Jordan was lying fourth overall at the time, and his trip to the hospital means he misses the second practice session of the day at 12:00 as a result.

He will be assessed before Saturday afternoon’s qualifying session, which takes place at 15:20.
