Rory Bryant has a podium finish in his sights as he prepares to make his debut in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup this weekend at the Scotsman’s home circuit Knockhill.
Bryant will be running alongside championship contender David Pittard at SV Racing for the weekend, and enters the series with plenty of knowledge of the circuit as a former two-time Scottish Fiesta ST champion.
Earlier this week, Bryant unveiled his unique green livery for the weekend (pictured above) at the Newbridge branch of sponsor Vaporized, and the former British GT racer is now looking forward to taking to the track in the Ginetta G55 GT4.
“I’m genuinely excited and the nerves are building too, as it’s all starting to feel very real,” said Bryant. “So much work has gone in to making this happen and I’m now just looking forward to getting in the car and doing the driving part.
“I just want to do a good job and pull together three strong finishes by making use of David’s and my engineers’ knowledge of the car and supporting the team with my track experience. Of course, I always want to win and I’ll stick my neck on the line by saying that a podium finish would be fantastic. I see this as a springboard for opportunities in 2015 and beyond.”
