Randon Switches To 20Ten For Final Two Meetings

1 Mins read

Sam Randon has moved across from SV Racing to 20Ten Racing for the final two meetings of the 2014 Michelin Clio Cup Series, starting this weekend at Snetterton (30/31 August).

Randon currently sits fifth in the overall championship standings despite having only two top six finishes in eight races to his name, with his sole podium result so far coming in the opening race of the season at Rockingham.

The 19 year old had thought his season was over after collecting extensive damage in incidents at Brands Hatch last time out, but the deal to move teams has ensured he will complete the remainder of the campaign.

We’ve had to change teams to fit the remaining budget which has been difficult as the boys at SV Racing worked so hard for me,” Randon said on his official website.

“We have been very lucky to agree a deal with 20Ten Racing, who have a great pedigree at UK Clio Cup level.

With the help of our fantastic sponsors who have dug deeper to help out financially, we have found a way to finish the season and fulfill our obligations to them.”
