Arden Recruit Mitchell For MSA Formula

1 Mins read

Arden Junior Racing Team have signed reigning British Super One Junior Max karting champion Sandy Mitchell as their first driver for MSA Formula this season.

The 14 year old makes the transition to car-racing with a successful karting career under his belt, having previously won the 2012 ABKC British “O” Plate Honda Cadet title and 2011 ASKC Scottish “S” Plate Honda Cadet title.

“Driving with Arden in this amazing new MSA Formula Championship will really be something special,” said Mitchell. “The new MSA Formula car looks fantastic and I am now fully focused on the transition from karting to single seaters.”

The Scotsman becomes the first driver from Arden’s Young Driver Racing Academy to step into single-seater racing, and will be joined by two other drivers in a three-car Arden entry.

“We have an established relationship with the Mitchell family since last year when Sandy joined the Young Racing Driver Academy,” added Garry Horner, Arden Team Principal. “We are very pleased to have Sandy as our first signing for the 2015 season.”
