MSA Launch Tender Process For BTCC

1 Mins read

The Motor Sports Association (MSA) has launched a tender process for the organisation and promotion of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship from 2017.

With the current deal with TOCA coming to an end next year, the MSA is seeking new parties to run and promote the series from 2017 for a stated minimum period of five years.

TOCA will again add a healthy support package in 2015 alongside the BTCC over all 10 race weekends. Renault Clio Cup UK, Ginetta GT Supercup, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and the Ginetta Junior Championship will again all be featured, as will the all-new MSA Formula category that replaces British Formula Ford for the coming season.

The deadline for submissions is no later than 12:00 noon on 10 April 2015.

TOCA Limited was formed in 1990 by Alan Gow who continued until 2000 before the company was sold to Octagon Motorsport, the American company taking charge until 2003 before Gow was reclaimed as Managing Director when BARC (TOCA) Ltd. was formed.
