Rio Haryanto has made the move to Campos Racing for this year’s GP2 Series campaign.

The experienced Indonesian driver makes the move from Caterham to join the Spanish team for the new season and will partner Frenchman Arthur Pic.

Haryanto, who won the Formula BMW Pacific title in 2009 and has also competed in Formula Asia 2.0, Formula BMW and GP3, has been a regular on the GP2 grid since 2012.

Despite his long spell in the series Haryanto has yet to win a race, he has however had strong results at Silverstone in 2013 and Monaco in 2014. Finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

I am very happy to be back in GP2 this year and looking forward to working together with Campos,” said Haryanto.

I feel that Campos Racing is a strong team and are very committed to success and Adrian (Campos) is a good motivator. Thank you to Pertamina for the loyal support.

Team boss, Adrian Campos, was delighted to welcome Haryanto to the team.

I should like warmly to welcome Rio Haryanto to Campos Racing. I am very pleased as he is an experienced driver. We are going to give him our full support to deliver good results together.
