RP Motorsport, which took Sandy Stuvik and Artur Janosz to first and second place in the 2014 EuroFormula Open Championship, have announced the first three drivers they will run in the 2015 edition of the championship.
Twenty-four-year-old Andres Saravia will return to the team for a second season, with the Guatemalan driver having raced for the team in 2014, claiming eighth place in the championship standings with a best finish of third place at the Hungaroring.
Joining Saravia in the team is another experienced EuroFormula Open driver in Italian Damiano Fioravanti, with the eighteen-year-old having raced for the Corbetta Competizioni and BVM Racing teams during the 2014 season, finishing a best of fifth place at Monza.
The third driver to be announced is Polish rookie Igor Walilko, who moves up from the ADAC Formel Masters championship in Germany where he finished tenth in the championship. He made a one-off appearance in EuroFormula Open in 2014 for Team West-Tec F3 at the season closer in Barcelona.
The team will announce further drivers closer to the start of the season, which begins in April at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain. In 2014, they started out with six drivers in the opening two races before dropping down to five for the remainder of the season.
