Sathienthirakul continues with West-Tec into 2015

1 Mins read

Thai driver Tanart Sathienthirakul will remain with Team West-Tec F3 for the 2015 EuroFormula Open season and is gunning to follow countryman Sandy Stuvik to the title.

Sathienthirakul finished seventh in the championship in 2014, securing a best finish of fourth at the Nurburgring, and scored top ten finishes in all but four races last season.

“I am very happy to be back with Team West-Tec,” said Sathienthirakul. We worked hard in 2014 and I know we can show better results this year.

Team boss John Miller welcomed Sathienthirakul back for a second season of the EuroFormula Open with the team, and along with the recently reconfirmed Yarin Stern, believes they have a good base for a strong team for 2015.

“Tanart was super-fast at times last year but it never really came together when it mattered most,” said Miller. “We were determined to keep him in the team as I know, when it does come together, he is going to spectacular and should be up there to challenge for outright honours.

“Following hot on the heels of our confirming Yarin Stern has also stayed with the team for 2015, these are two really exciting drivers who we are expecting great things of.”
