Charles Pic returns to Formula E

1 Mins read

Charles Pic will drive for China Racing in the Miami ePrix, his first Formula E race since the opening round in Beijing for the Andretti Formula E Team.

After a sterling opening race that saw the Frenchman take fourth, narrowly missing out on a podium finish, the ex-Lotus F1 Team and Caterham man watched on as the likes of Matthew Brabham filled his seat in later rounds.

Since Beijing, it was believed that Pic was looking into the options of IndyCar, but with no deal forthcoming, looks set to stay in Formula E.

Pic now replaces Ho Pin-Tung for the first of the two American races and will line up alongside Nelson Piquet Jr, who is currently in form after taking two consecutive podium finishes in Uruguay and Argentina.

Pic rounds off the ever rotating changes in Formula E with Loic Duval, Scott Speed and Vitantonio Liuzzi all set for their debuts in Miami.
