Lazarus have completed their 2015 GP2 Series line-up with 22 year-old Swiss driver Zoel Amberg.
Amberg, who won the Formula Renault 2.0 West European Cup with Jenzer Motorsport in 2010, will join Frenchman Natahael Berthon at the Italian team alongside his LMP2 World Endurance Championship commitments with Japanese-Swiss team SARD Morand.
The Swiss driver has also competed in both European F3 Open in 2011, taking one win and four podiums, and Formula Renault 3.5, where he spent three years with Pons Racing and most recently AV Formula.
In his third year in FR 3.5 the youngster finished 11th in the drivers’ standings, with 66 points and one podium.
The 22 year-old took part in the GP2 post-season tests in Abu Dhabi last year and returned again this year, this time with Lazarus.
“I’m really happy to join a team like Lazarus,” said Amberg. “Taking part in the GP2 Series is a huge challenge for me. I want to thank everybody who made this possible. I really can’t wait to start.”
