Jackson: “There Should Be Some Good Results Ahead”

1 Mins read

Ollie Jackson feels there is more to come after picking up a trio of top eight finishes on his Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup debut at Brands Hatch last weekend.

Linking up with Century Motorsport, the former BTCC racer converted a sixth place qualifying result into sixth, eighth and seventh place finishes, putting him seventh in the early points standings.

Following a torrid year in BTCC last year, Jackson says he is pleased to be back out enjoying his racing again and challenging near the front of a competitive grid.

“It’s really nice to come and have a good weekend’s racing with a great team around me,” Jackson reflected.

“It’s also nice to be slightly disappointed with three top eight finishes in a strong field.”

With team and driver still fine-tuning their set-up on Jackson’s left-hand drive G55, compared to his team-mates right-hand drive machines, the 30 year old feels there is plenty more to come from the partnership.

“We showed good pace this weekend whilst we’re still getting used to the car,” he added.

Once we get it nailed and I get used to it fully, there should be some good results ahead.”
